me: How did you find a publisher?...editor, illustrations…cover artwork?
Billie Jo - The cover was created by a neighbor Mr. Murray who listened to my thoughts and then showed me the results. I was thrilled! I love that hunk on the cover… who wouldn’t ? I believe that having a great editor was the thread that bound my words into a book. We laughed and cried and complained and then at the end of the day we would say good job to each other

Me: What is the thing that you like most about writing this book and having it in the marketplace?
Billie Jo - Writing this book has ended a chapter in life that needed to be closed and shared.  I have so many women who have read the book commenting that it should be a movie.. Hey.. Another dream !  The reviews I have received have touched my heart  and brought tears to my eyes.  So many ladies have a story and I so badly wanted to share mine.

Bonding with my Girls.........

  Okay... this is my short but sweet message... even tho I have Bag's to sew and  my curtain project to dooooooooooooo......... It's time to take a deep breather and do our new TRADITION!

Every three month's my four girls and I go on a advernture.. we draw names to see who will be over the journey! That person plans it and pays for it....even tho money is hard to come by.. the scrafice has proved to be worth the memories!

This time me and my chicks           ... will be going to St. George for the weekend...

I will take pictures so I can share.. ( hopefully I can share ) we get pretty crazy.. but I'm bringing
DEPENDS ALONG FOR MISHAPS!

This is our goal...Day 1 --- leave Clinton area @ 9:30..( it will be great if that really happens )

then we are heading directely to " DUNFORD DOUGNETS " IN SOUTH JORDAN. Yum yum...

Then we are stopping off at the Swimsuit store in Lehi!  
Hmmmmmmmmm this is what I call normal but others think we are crazy.

Time.. I need more of it !

I have so many things going threw my head.... you know.. they are called goals .. like find time to work on the kitchen curtains.....  for daughter....but other things keep popping up..
Dr. appointments.. outings with hubby.. sewing my  SASSY BAGS... book club restarting  in September..and best of all grandkids..  ( no complaints there )... other then I can't get enough of them.
Sooooooooo my progress is slow on the curtains but here is a bit of a preview------

okay.. you can see I'm in a dither ( is dither a word?) just a minute I will look it up... yes it is and it means: A state of indecision or nervousness... looking at my fabric closet.. I would say I'm in a dither...

Okay... I'm back to the project... curtains for daughter..

Hopefully I will have them done by next week.... because I have so much more to share!

STITCHIN...AWAY... AND DEEP IN THOUGHT

Isn't it amazing the places you visit when your mind skips around.... as the needle goes up and down!
This little project I'm sharing with you  ( hmmmmmmm) is for my daughter # 3... for her new home.. she is a very special daughter ( but of course all my children are..) but when I'm working on her project .... many awesome memories flip from one memory page  to another.
EXAMPLES:
SLURPIES AT SEVEN ELEVEN  ( 12:00 p.m.).... her willingness to help others.... her example and hard work ethics... and a crazy drive to Colorado .... funny things started to  happen at the side of the road when her Mother ( Me ) accidentally squirt sour cream all over my face.... when my daughter looked over and seen my face covered with sour cream.... her contagious laugh started and she ended up at the side of the road with a bladder mishap... I know.. I know
grouse........but it was one of those times  that you.."JUST HAD TO BE THERE"

I know this might be a shocking suprise to many of my close friends but ... here I gooooo!
I flunked my Sewing Class in 1964.....My teacher was Mrs. Bennett and she was such a patient woman.
but with all of her skills .. I just couldn't concentrate on the projects.. I thought sewing was boring!

I know.... I know.. the question you are asking is .."how do you flunk  sewing and                                      Be a Sew Acholic  now?
Well what can I say.. back in the 70's I opened a Quilt Shop ... A Stitch N Time.
 in a little town called Heber.
it started out as a survival endevor but soon became a recovery journey for me as well as meeting  a great woman who became the teacher for the quilt class's!
