SO MUCH FUN!

The weather report is:  Severe Thunder Storms....beep beep...wind gusts..beep beep..lighting..beep beep..... rain  and a bit of sunshine.  ( Husband has one of those weather radio's so it beeps so you will listen)
But... we went to Swiss Day's in Midway..Ut.  ANYWAY!

So amist the clouds, rain and bad forcast we stopped at the Maverick to get our goodies to help us cope with our adventure!....( for me that would be a Diet Coke with Cherry squirt!)

Rain -YES... Clouds -Yes --but that didn't stop SWISS DAYS OR OUR SHOPPING.

( I will add... with the economy our shopping was selective but rewarding!... daughter Cindi Jo however didn't let the economy bother her... she was a shopping woman!
Seen old friends and made new ones.  Enjoyed alot of booths and never missed a chance to eat some great food.  On the way out we stopped at the Relief Society Bakery Boothe.. must I say more!  ( I also seen alot of women with gray hair like mine.. I was thinking some of them could be my old classmates.. but  I couldn't tell...( but when you have gray hair there is always an instant bond !)

Then we went up to MEMEORIAL HILL IN MIDWAY.. some of my younger girls and grandaughters have never been up there... It's a Memorial to the troops who died in the war who lived in Heber Valley ....and you drive around and around to get to the top of a windy hill.... ( but in the 60's..70's and 80's it was known for make-out hill.  ( no comments.. you get the vision)

SO HERE WE ARE AT THE TOP ! ( THE ORIENTAL GIRL IS AN EXCHANGE STUDENT FROM JAPAN WHO IS STAYING WITH CINDI JO THIS YEAR TO GO TO SCHOOL
( she doesn't speak much english.. but she loves how us Americans like to Eat... hmmm!

P.S. JILL IN IDAHO
THIS IS YOUR RAG BAG!

  1. It looks like you're having fun!
I think ALL exchange students are little taken aback at how Americans eat! We have several where we live and they are also surprised.
