It`s Halloween! It`s Halloween!
The moon is full and bright
And we shall see what can`t be seen
on any other night:
Skeletons and ghosts and ghouls,
Grinning goblins fighting duels,
Werewolves rising from their tombs,
Witches on their magic brooms.
Many years ago... Trick-or -Treat.. was a whole lot different then todays TRICK OR TREAT!
In the little town of Heber.. we walked door to door and gathered all kinds of "Home-Made Goodies"
We trusted others... and I always made tons of Sugar Cookies.. becasue word was out that the
"Steele Family" had the best Treats.. Neighbors had small gatherings and played games.. the only decorations back then .. was what ever we could create..
It seems like ... I always fall back on the " Good-ole-Days" but just think ... for our grandchildren.. this will be their days to remember.
