A Quilt to Remember

I had the wonderful opportunity to help a friend at work finish a quilt her Mother had worked on before she passed away last year.

I was able to attatch the borders to a very fragile quilt...
My friend had it professionly machine quilted and then I did the binding.

As I stitched away..I could feel the tenderness that her Mother had give to each Sunbonnet Sue  it was my stitches meeting those of the past!
